SaferSea is an asset tracking solution for goods that are transported by sea, land, rail and / or air. These include, for example, containers, machines, or bulky goods. It not only comprises position tracking and condition monitoring capabilities, e.g., the recognition of potential damage to the asset, but also the detection of cargo which is lost at sea and the precise localization afterwards.
The initial development stages of SaferSea have been completed, and the patent has been approved by the European Patent Office in The Hague with the patent number EP4116181A1. The grant of a unitary patent will follow. SaferSea is currently capable of detecting and subsequently locating the loss of containers or machinery at sea.
